AOTA INSPIRE 2026 Recap

Hello! Welcome to the MANY new subscribers who joined us last week!

Last Wednesday, on April 22nd, I took the stage and presented a 6hr Institute on AI to a crowd of OTPs alongside my husband, Sagar Pandya, & a dear friend, Sean Brim. Why those two? Well, Sagar’s been in the AI space for nearly a decade and does AI strategy, development, and implementation daily. Sean, or Dr. Brim, is an Assistant Professor at USA-Miami and shared insights on academic integrity and navigating AI in education. We were surprised by the turnout with 40+ attendees, and we’re so very grateful to those of you who have joined me here!

One of the attendees is working on a study examining how the lack of transparency around AI may shape practitioners’ deference to AI recommendations and whether that dynamic may increase risk for disadvantaged patient populations. If you’ve got thoughts on this, please consider filling out his survey! It is an anonymous 10-15min online survey with an optional opt-in for a $10 Amazon gift card at the end.
